Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Winbright Cleaning Limited collects and uses personal data when you use this website or contact us about cleaning work.
Who we are
Winbright Cleaning Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16549816, with a registered office at 9 Westbourne Avenue, Gateshead, NE8 4NF.
You can contact us about privacy at [email protected] or by phone on +44 7946 426134.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Details about the property and the cleaning you need — the service, area, property type, size, preferred timing, and anything you write in the message box
- The fact that you ticked the consent box, and when you submitted the form
We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not ask for any special category data.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It is cookieless and does not track you across other websites or build a profile of you. Because it collects no personal data and sets no cookies, no consent banner is required.
Why we use your data, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and your consent given when you tick the box on the form.
- To carry out cleaning work you book with us. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep this site secure and working. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell them.
Who processes your data on our behalf
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this website, provides the Turnstile anti-spam check, and provides cookieless analytics.
- Resend — delivers the enquiry email from the website to our inbox.
Both are bound by contract to process personal data only on our instructions. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months if the enquiry does not lead to work, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Where we carry out work for you, we keep the records for six years to meet accounting and tax obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your data, where we do not have to keep it
- Ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on
Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
